Fancy sleeping in a helicopter? We have converted ex-Royal Navy helicopter Westland Lynx ZD566, into sleeping/glamping accommodation including nearby toilet and shower facilities, for the sole use of helicopter guests.
Prices are for two people including breakfast, which is served in the farmhouse dining room. Bedding and towels are provided, as well as tea/coffee and kettle.
Please note that you will be sleeping in an actual ex Royal Navy helicopter that was in service until just a few years ago, which can be seen in the video and pictures below. Whilst we’ve tried to make it as comfortable as possible, we’ve also tried to keep it as original as possible, which has included keeping the cockpit intact. Some nimbleness is required for getting in and out of bed, but once you’re in it’s very cosy and comfortable.
Headroom is extremely limited, so please mind your head, shoulders, knees & toes……whilst inside and when climbing in and out. The attached hard top gazebo will provide extra privacy and standing room.
We hope this will be a fun, quirky and memorable stay for guests in one of the most beautiful parts of Cornwall.
Taking off and flying around the coastline in the helicopter is strictly forbidden!
